How to make USBTrace log from dongle
WARNING!!! The USBTrace program is now considered obsolete.
USBTrace works great on systems from Windows XP to Windows Vista x32 and x64 bit systems.
USBTrace not supported Windows 10 !!!
If your operating system is Windows 10 x32 or x64 bit system then use HDD USB Log.
Download and Install USBTrace
1. Download USBTrace v3.0.1.82
2. UnRAR it and Install the desired version Windows 32 or 64 bit
3. After Install copy USBTrace.exe and utlicense.dat files from CRK folder to installed folder
4. Execute USBTrace.exe and register it by utlicense.dat
Now you are ready make USBTrace from dongle.
Step by step instruction
Step I - Make logs for insert dongle in computer.
1. Remove dongle from computer.
2. Execute USBTrace.
3. Press button with label "Capture hot plugged USB devices".
4. Press button with green arrow "Start Capture".
5. Insert dongle to USB.
!!! IMPORTANT !!! Insert the Dongle in USB2 (BLACK color USB port). Do not Insert Dongle in USB3 (BLUE color USB port).
6. Press button with red square "Stop Capture".
7. Save log to PlugDongle.utl file.
Step II - Export log to TXT file.
1. Press File->Export Utility
2. Press "..." button and enter File Name and select "Text Log" type file.
3. Press "Export" button.
Step III - Execute protected program.
!!! IMPORTANT !!! Before performing the third step remove the dongle from your computer and insert back.
!!! IMPORTANT !!! Insert the Dongle in USB2 (BLACK color USB port). Do not Insert Dongle in USB3 (BLUE color USB port).
1. In USBTrace program press "Clear Log" button.
2. In top left corner (in USBTrace) select your USB device and check it.
3. Press button with green arrow "Start Capture".
4. Run your protected program and work with her some time.
5. Close your protected program.
6. Press button with red square "Stop Capture".
7. Save log to Execute.utl file.
8. Extort this log to TXT Log File.
If protected program have not one EXE files make Step III with all EXE files.
Step IV - Send information.
Archive all .UTL log and .TXT log files on RAR and send it on Glasha@brstudio.com
